Welcome to Pacific Coast Harvest, a culinary gem nestled in the vibrant heart of Seattle at 676 S Orcas St. Known for their commitment to delivering fresh, organic produce, this innovative brand has revolutionized the way we think about food sourcing in our community. With a phone number of (206) 455-8959, they offer a direct line of connection to their exceptional services.

What sets Pacific Coast Harvest apart is their dedication to local agriculture. Customers rave about the outstanding selection of organic produce, featuring unusual items like foraged mushrooms and sea beans, which you won't typically find at your local supermarket. Each order reveals the source of every item, fostering a connection between diners and the local farmers who cultivate their food. Customers like Kineta C. celebrate this transparency in product sourcing, noting that although the prices may skew higher than grocery stores, the added flavor and quality justify the investment.

Pacific Coast Harvest departs from traditional CSA models by offering a more flexible shopping experience. Molly T. notes the convenience of ordering a la carte and customizing selections, allowing customers to choose the precise ingredients they desire without being confined to a pre-arranged box. This aspect not only empowers home cooks but also elevates the culinary journey as patrons explore a diverse array of seasonal produce. The ability to shop whenever you want, coupled with year-round delivery, positions PCH as a standout option for those who cherish a fresh and varied diet.

Another highlight is the strong customer service ethos embodied by the team at Pacific Coast Harvest. As Lauren N. shares, their commitment to customer satisfaction shines through in every interaction, whether it’s accommodating last-minute changes or delivering directly to your door. The joy of discovering new culinary ingredients, along with seasonal offerings like beautiful red carrots and fresh rhubarb, makes every order an inspiring adventure in the kitchen.

Additionally, Pacific Coast Harvest is using eco-friendly practices by minimizing plastic use in their deliveries and opting for wooden crates. Taylor E. appreciates how this effort aligns with the values of sustainability and fresh living. Every box is not just a delivery of food; it’s an experience that enables customers to embrace a lifestyle of health and community.

As a personal reflection, the vibrant colors and textures of the vegetables and fruits that arrive at my doorstep from Pacific Coast Harvest often transform ordinary meals into extraordinary ones. The quality of the produce is palpable, and each bite bursts with the essence of the Pacific Northwest's rich soil.

In conclusion, Pacific Coast Harvest stands as a beacon in the world of organic produce, combining convenience, quality, and local connection. Whether you’re a seasoned cook or a casual diner, their model invites everyone to indulge in wholesome, delightful food. Experience the difference for yourself, and you may just find that your taste for local and organic sustenance evolves into something truly passionate.

Fantastic selection of organic produce, including things you will never see at the supermarket like foraged mushrooms, sea beans(!), a variety of asian greens. Their focus on locally grown produce is great and they provide info on where everything is grown. I love that I can make the selections I want vs being restricted to a prefilled box. They are unfortunately a little expensive (not terrible but definitely more than the grocery for organic produce) and they've just upped their delivery fee to $4 for orders under $40, which can be a pain point for a small household's budget.

Wow, what a special CSA! I haven't joined a CSA until PCH because they were always expensive and had a lot of restrictions. PCH allows you to order when you feel like it and doesn't require you to subscribe to a weekly or monthly box. If one of their pre-planned boxes isn't exactly what you want, you can add items to or omit items from it. They also have a large "store" online where you can shop a la carte for other items you may want. The produce is always fresh, delicious and absolutely beautiful. Everything tastes like it was hand picked at precisely the right moment. It also feels really good to support local businesses and farms. I feel fortunate to have access to PCH and that they conveniently deliver right to my front door. Lastly, I absolutely love that they're operating year round! It will be great to receive fresh veggies this winter.

My wife and I have used Pacific Coast Harvest for a couple of years now and have loved it. Their customer service is outstanding and the produce delivered is the highest quality. I've used their service as an opportunity to try out new foods and experiment with my cooking, which has been super fun! When something unexpectedly changes about our order, they proactively reach out to explain what's going on, try to substitute the food as best they can, or provide a discount code for the next order. They've also been able to navigate my large apartment complex and deliver our box directly to our door! Which has been extremely nice :) Overall, highly recommend this local small business! This company makes me so happy. I talk about them constantly so people think I work there. (Maybe one day! A girl can dream!) Grass fed milk and yogurt, beautiful veggies, and even handmade pasta noodles all delivered to you by super friendly people. You make this mediocre cook look like she knows what she's doing in the kitchen.

I was a regular customer of PCH until I lived in the Seattle area. The produce is always fresh and always seasonal. I loved that they had red carrots (my favorite), fresh garlic and local rhubarb. The produce maybe a tad expensive but the taste of the vegetables makes up for it. Chris, Kailyn and Jared are always available to help. I have had numerous instances when orders had to be cancelled at the last minute or I had a missing item or I was not satisfied with what I got. The delivery is always on time.

There are so many options out there these days for getting fresh produce delivered to your doorstep, and I am familiar with several of them through direct experience and secondhand accounts from friends and family. Pacific Coast Harvest stands apart with their unfailing and transparent commitment to Washington farmers. Chris and his team have worked extremely hard to make sure customers have as much information as possible about the farmers that grow the produce in each week's order, and their service is definitely the best option on the market for those who care about eating local. You can still get your fix of bananas and avocados and other non-local items, but PCH is transparent there as well, even providing info about those farmers from farther away. The best part about being a PCH customer is that the operation is small, and if you ever have a question or issue, you will speak directly to Chris, the owner, who so clearly cares for his customers' satisfaction, as opposed to a computer or customer service person within a giant company like some of the other services out there. You feel like you're part of community of folks eating well and supporting local. You can't go wrong.

Super easy to place your order, great options (and so many of them Washington grown!), and pain-free delivery! I love eating fresh produce, it makes up a great deal of my diet, and I love that I can get quality fruits and veggies from my own "backyard"! (And let's face it, I'm super busy and so the convenience of placing my weekly order online is a life-saver!) Highly recommend!

We switched to Pacific Coast Harvest after trying out a CSA and couldn't be happier! The half fruit half veggie box is the perfect amount of produce for our two person (one cat!) household. Also, unlike our CSA where we were often trying to google what we found in our box and scouring the internet for reasonable ways to cook 17 heads of kohlrabi, there's a nice mix of veggies--plenty of things we already know how to work with (peppers, brussels sprouts, basil, onion, lettuces) also things that are fun and we might not pick up on our own (rhubarb! eggplant!). Plus I love the little wooden crate on our step and lack of plastic/ packaging!

LOVE LOVE LOVE this CSA. They are very accommodating in substituting your order as well as postponing a delivery when you are out of town. Compared to the CSA I had back in San Diego, Pacific Coast Harvest uses no plastic bags and delivers your produce in the night so you wake up (or stay up late enough some nights) to fruits/veggies that haven't been waiting all day in the sun. You also receive a recipe each delivery which is great for some of the items you may not have cooked with before! Their website is also very convenient to update your orders and its great that they provide an option for every other week delivery as well as three different type of boxes: all vegetable, half fruit half vegetable and a Washington Box.
